SAN BERNARDINO • After two years of slow growth, a report released Tuesday shows the Inland Empire’s manufacturing sector has posted a decline for the second month in a row — signaling the area could be headed toward a second economic downturn.
“This report is not a ‘doomsday’ report,” states the monthly study from the Institute of Applied Research at California State University, San Bernardino. “However, it certainly is not an encouraging one.”
