Salton Sea Town Very Much Alive

Despite scientists predicting that the Salton Sea is on the fast track to drying up and spawning epic dust storms of the apocalyptic variety, Riverside County officials believe “People are going to want to live around the sea” and have held a second hearing to discuss approval of the Travertine Point development (the town would span the Riverside/ Imperial County border).
