Hesperia breaks ground on Ranchero Road underpass

HESPERIA • After decades of build up, the city of Hesperia broke ground on the Ranchero Road Undercrossing project Wednesday morning. The $27 million project will provide the city with a third means of crossing the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks that split Hesperia into east and west sections. Hesperia– Construction of the Ranchero Underpass under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks commences on September 6, 2011 with the full closure of Ranchero Road between Danbury Avenue and Alston Avenue in order to realign the street. Wal-Mart Groundbreaking in the High Desert

Assemblyman Donnelly joined City officials and representatives from Wal-mart  at the Hesperia Wal-Mart Super Center groundbreaking. Victor Valley housing market remains flat

Home prices in the desert decreased 1.4 percent from June and 8.6 percent from July 2010.
